ClearDeck privacy policy
Last updated
This policy explains how ClearDeck, a mobile app from Tovabit, handles information. It is written for people who use the app. The website at tovabit.com has a shorter note on the privacy page.
Who we are
ClearDeck is published by Tovabit, Derech Menahem Begin 7, Ramat Gan 5268102, Israel. Privacy questions go to support@tovabit.com.
The short version
We do not ask you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or precise location for our own use. The app can show ads through Google AdMob. Google's SDK may process device and advertising data, as described below. Anything the app needs to remember is stored on your device.
Data stored on your device
Game progress, statistics, and settings are stored on your device. We do not upload a player profile or a history of your games to Tovabit servers.
Advertising and AdMob
ClearDeck may display advertisements through Google AdMob. Ads support a free app. We do not sell personal information, and we do not receive your name or email address from the ads SDK.
Google and its advertising partners may process your advertising ID (or the platform's equivalent), your IP address, device and app details such as model, operating system, language, and app version, coarse location inferred from the IP address, and interactions with ads, for example whether an ad was shown or clicked.
That processing is done by Google under its own terms, not on Tovabit servers.
Consent (Google UMP)
Where consent is required — including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland — the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present a consent message before ads that need a choice. You can allow personalized ads, refuse them, or manage options.
Your choice is stored on the device and shared with Google so the ads SDK can follow it. We do not keep a separate consent database. You can change the choice later from the privacy or ads entry in the app, when that control is available, or by clearing the app's storage. Resetting or deleting the advertising ID in Android settings also detaches later ad requests from the previous ID.
Outside those regions, the app may request ads under Google's configuration for your country. The same rule holds: we still do not collect an account profile.
What we do not collect
- No Tovabit account, login, or password
- No name, email address, or phone number, unless you write to us yourself
- No contact list, photo library, or precise GPS location for our own use
- No Tovabit analytics product, and no usage database on our servers
- We do not buy data about you, and we do not sell or share personal information for money
Permissions
- ClearDeck does not ask for the camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or precise location.
- The advertising SDK may use the advertising ID, as described in the advertising section.
Children
ClearDeck is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13, or under the age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, write to support@tovabit.com and we will delete that correspondence.
How long information stays
We do not keep a personal profile on Tovabit servers, because the app does not send us one. Data on your device remains until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. Advertising data held by Google follows Google's retention rules.
If you email support, we keep the thread for as long as we need to answer, and for up to 24 months after the last message, unless a longer period is required for a legal claim. The steps for asking us to delete that mail are on the data deletion page.
Your choices
- Clear local data in Android Settings → Apps → ClearDeck → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app.
- Advertising ID: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads → delete or reset the advertising ID. Menu names vary by device.
- Google's own control: Google Ads Settings.
- Ask us: email support@tovabit.com with the subject "Privacy", the app name, and what you want done. If the request is about data held by Google, we will point you to the control that can actually erase it. We reply within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top and publish the new text at this URL. When the app is already on your device, a material change will also be noted in an update.
